Semblanza

La Doctora Mina Konigsberg Fainstein nació en la Ciudad de México, antes Distrito Federal. Realizó la licenciatura y la maestría en Biología Experimental en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana y el doctorado en ciencias biológicas en esa misma casa de estudio donde ahora es Profesora Titular C y Responsable del Laboratorio de Bioenergética y Envejecimiento Celular del Departamento Ciencias de la Salud.

Realizó una estancia sabática en el Barshop Institute for Aging and Longevity studies. Health Science Center. University of Texas, San Antonio, con una beca Fulbright y del CONACyT. Ha publicado varios artículos científicos y de divulgación, y ha dirigido tesis de alumnos de licenciatura y posgrado.

Es miembro de la Society for Redox Biology And Medicine, American Aging Association, Academia Mexicana de las Ciencias y del Sistema Nacional de investigadores nivel III.
