Professor Adalberto Abel Mosqueda Taylor graduated from the first generation of the Bachelor of Estomatology of the UAM Xochimilco Campus (1974-1978). With a Master's in Science in Oral Pathology at the University of London (1980-1981) and a specialty in oral medicine at Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (1987-1989).
Among the recognitions obtained stand out: Pedro Weiss Award at 1st place in the area of Pathology and Anthropology Research, Ministry of the Presidency, Lima Peru. Awards concytec (National Council of Science and Technology) 1989; National Researcher Level 3 of the National System of Researchers; Academic holder of the National Academy of Medicine of Mexico; Doctor Honoris Causa of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí; Honorary Professor of the National Institute of Cancerology of Mexico; Honorary member of the Spanish Society of Oral Medicine; Honorary partner of the Mexican Association of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial; Honorary member of the Chilean Society of Oral Pathology; Honorary Professor of the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia; Gold Medal of the Spanish Society of Oral Medicine, in recognition of the contributions of scientific collaboration and the development of society. Founding and ex-president member of the Ibero-American Academy of Pathology and Oral Medicine.
Author / co-author of 198 articles, the majority published in international journals indexed and with an impact factor, 18 chapters published in books of stomatology and medicine, and three published books of the specialty.
Responsible for the research project "Immunohistochemical study of cellular components and extracellular matrix related to mechanisms of tumor growth and cell cohesion in tumors and odontogenic cysts. International multicenter collaborative study", in which researchers from Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Spain and Japan participate.
Contributor in registering the Impi 351321 patent for topical stimulating composition of salivation.
