El Dr. Ignacio González Martínez es Profesor Titular de Carrera Nivel C de Tiempo Completo adscrito al Departamento de Química de la División de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa.

Estudio la Licenciatura en Química en la Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán de la UNAM (1980). Obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Química Analítica (Electroquímica) en la Universidad Pierre et Marie Curie, París Francia (1983).
