Professor Ignacio Gonzalez Martinez is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.

He studied Chemistry at the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Cuautitlán, UNAM (1980). Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (Electrochemistry) from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France (1983).
