Professor Claudia Cecilia Radilla Vázquez has a Ph.D. in Biological and Health Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), with the award of the Medal of University Merit, a Master's degree in Nutrition and Applied Dietetics, with specialties in Nutrition and Physical Activity; and Hospital Nutrition from the University of León, Spain and a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from the UAM.
She has been a Professor attached to the Department of Health Care at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Xochimilco Campus, since 2014, where she has directed, coordinated, and participated in various projects on healthy lifestyle habits.
She is a Member of the Academic Commission of Continuing Education for the Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and of the Commission of the Design and Development of the Plan and Programs of Studies of the Master's Degree in Human Nutrition at the same University. Member of the Interinstitutional Commission of Chronic Diseases of Mexico City and the Society of Physicians of the Hospital Médica Sur with the Specialty of Nutrition. She has the PRODEP profile.
She has several publications in scientific journals and book chapters. She has participated in developing a technological platform and an educational video game focused on promoting healthy habits and lifestyles in the Mexican population.
Among her lines of research is the generation of an intervention model for the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits by creating and using mobile health technologies for children, adolescents, and adults in Mexico City.
She has participated in the training of human resources at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, she has received several awards from the Federal Government and the Government of the CDMX for her participation in strategies to promote healthy lifestyles.
