Profile

Doctor Alfredo Garibay Suárez is a Professor in Marketing, Design and Technologies at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus, where he has also participated in continuing education activities (workshops, courses and diploma courses), management activities (digital technology, liaison, graduate committees and editorial production).

He is a Peer Evaluator of Academic Programs for the Accreditation Council for Administrative, Accounting, and Related Sciences (CACECA). He has been distinguished by CONACYT as a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and has been awarded the Desirable Profile of the Program for the Professional Development of Teachers of the Ministry of Public Education (PRODEP-SEP).

He has received the University Merit Medal three times, an Academic Mention for his Doctoral Project, and a Quorum Mexico Silver Mention. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Design and Visualization, and his lines of research include design, marketing, digital education, e-government, and disruptive technologies; in these areas, he publishes and lectures nationally and internationally.
