Profile

Professor Francisco Sánchez Sánchez holds a Ph.D. in Education, Subject: Study Strategies and Self-Regulation among Language Teachers at the Higher Level, a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the S.E.P. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education in English from the Escuela Normal Superior de México (ENSM) and in International Business from the Escuela Superior de Comercio y Administración (ESCA) Unidad Santo Tomás of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). In addition, he has undergraduate studies in International Relations, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (FCPyS UNAM) and Law Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Azcapotzalco Campus).

He is an Associate Professor at the UAM Xochimilco Campus. He has work experience in Education in the area of Foreign Languages in the Azcapotzalco and Iztapalapa Campuses, as well as in Basic and Upper Secondary Education in the CDMX (SEP), as well as in London, U.K., and Paris, France.

Finally, he has presented papers in specialized events such as:

- "Pedagogy Guidelines in order to Design Multimedia Materials Focused in the Cultural Axis of the Iztapalapa Campus" at II° Congreso Internacional de Formadores en la Enseñanza de Lenguas (Originarias, Español y Extranjeras), at the Facultad de Lenguas de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) and at the Congreso Internacional de Lenguas y Tecnología at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH).

- Designing and Foundations of an Advanced Course on Selected Topics on Anglophone Cultures to the English Program of the Campus Iztapalapa". at the 11th Meeting of Foreign Language Students and Professors. Universidad del Valle de Puebla (UVP); the 3rd National and International Convention of Languages "New Approaches in Language Teaching and Learning to Research in and out the Classroom", Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas (UNICACH) and in the International Congress of Educational Research and Applied Linguistics CIELA 2019, in the framework of RECALE (Network of Academic Groups in Foreign Languages), Universidad de Quintana Roo (UQROO).
