Professor Fabiola Soto Villaseñor studied a degree in special education in the area of learning disabilities at the Escuela Normal de Especializacion in Mexico City. She obtained her Master's degree in Neurological Rehabilitation at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

From 1989 to 2003, she worked in Special Education at the Ministry of Public Education in the area of attention to school children with special educational needs. She was director of educational centers and participated in the training of education professionals in the attention of learning disabilities.

She has worked as a professor at the Universidad La Salle in Mexico City, teaching classes in the Bachelor's Degree in Education Sciences. Since 2005, she has worked as a professor in the Department of Health Care at the UAM, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

From 2011 to 2020, she served as Coordinator of the Master in Neurological Rehabilitation at UAM Xochimilco Campus.

In the Master in Neurological Rehabilitation, she has contributed to the development of research projects related to the effect of early intervention in child neurodevelopment, emphasizing the organization of cognitive processes and the prevention of learning disabilities.
