Profile
Professor José Fernando González Sánchez has a degree in Veterinary and Zootechnics from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM). He worked as a rabbit and quail producer and sales manager in a meat distributor. He completed his master's and doctorate studies at the National School of Biological Sciences of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN).
Member of the Mexican Association of Food Science. Professor, by competitive examination at the Xochimilco Campus of the UAM. He has published eight scientific articles, one book chapter, three didactic manuals. Coordinator of events such as "Influeza en México", "Jornadas en calidad y comercialización de la carne", "Jornadas en inocuidad agro alimentaria". Responsible for the Meat Science and Public Health Veterinary Laboratory.
Participation in more than 20 national and international congresses. Advised more than 100 social service students. Advisor to four students graduating from the Master's program in Agricultural Sciences.
He has approved the functional meat food project. Currently serves as coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics.
