Profile

Dr. Eric Alfredo Rincón García graduated in Mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2003. He completed a Master's and Doctorate in engineering, in operations research, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

He is currently assigned to the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus. He is a member of the National System of Researchers level 1 and has the desirable PROMEP profile from 2012 to date.

He has participated as a member of the Committee in Postgraduate Studies Information Sciences and Technologies from 2019 to date. Your primary research areas are heuristic and metaheuristic methods for continuous and discrete optimization and artificial intelligence applications.
