Profile
Doctor Nelly Molina-Frechero is a Professor working in the area of clinical sciences of the Department of Health Care; her lines of research are Preventive Dentistry, Dental Fluorosis and Caries, Water Toxicology, Basic Sciences in Dentistry, Genetics of Oral Diseases, Pathology and Oral Medicine.
She belongs to the National System of Researchers with Level III of CONACYT, is responsible for the consolidated academic group Research in Oral Health, and has a PRODEP profile.
Professor Molina participated in the creation of the Master's Degree in Dental Sciences, where she is the first Coordinator. Training of human resources: B.Sc. 48, Master's 16, and Doctorate 4.
At the undergraduate level, she has taught in the Divisional Trunk of CBS, in the career of Stomatology. At the Postgraduate level in the Doctorate in Biological and Health Sciences and Master's Degree in Dental Sciences.

Publication of more than 100 scientific articles and more than 200 specialized events at national and international level.
She participates in institutionally approved research projects and collaborates in international projects. Implemented agreements and joint works with universities at national and international level. At the national level with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), the Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango, the Universidad de Guadalajara, the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua and the Universidad de San Luis Potosí, among others. Internationally with the University of Buenos Aires UBA, the University of Uruguay UDELAR and the Catholic University, the Cooperative University of Colombia and the University of Modena Italy.
The research line is integrated to the objectives of the institution in relation to sustainable development where the goals are to provide attention to vulnerable groups through actions to reduce the gaps of social and territorial inequality between different areas of the Mexican Republic and in relation to drinking water, which aims to promote and ensure access to quality and quantity of drinking water, prioritizing historically discriminated groups, ensuring the health of the population and the ecosystems and watersheds.
Evaluator of international journals such as Oral Diseases, Community Dent Oral Epidemiology, BMC Oral Health. Int J Environ Res Public Health, Med Oral Patol Oral Cir Bucal, Dis Markers, Med Sci Monit, among others. Accredited evaluator of CONACYT, PRODEP and at international level of the National Agency of Science and Technology ANII of Uruguay.
