Professor Claudia Mónica Salazar Villava is a doctor in Social Sciences, has a Master's in Social Psychology, a Psychologist and Psychoanalyst, and a Diploma in Domestic Violence. She has coordinated the Master's Degree in Social Psychology of Groups and Institutions and the area of
specialization of that discipline in the Doctorate in Social Sciences.
She is a member of the Academic Committees of the degree in Psychology, Masters, and the Doctorate mentioned above. She has directed three doctoral theses, six masters, and more than 30 terminal investigations in bachelor's degrees.

She has published 30 articles and book chapters in various national and international publications. She was an academic representative for the Department of Education and Communication on two occasions before the Consejo Académico of the Xochimilco Campus and once as an alternate Collegiate. She has been an advisor in five commissions of
the Colegio Académico of UAM. She has long experience as a consultant for non-governmental organizations. Her book "The abyss of winners. Social intervention, between autonomy and management" critically addresses the contemporary logic of social intervention. She coordinated the book "They want to bury us, they forget that we are seeds. The future of the new insurgencies", in which she writes about the social irruption of #YoSoy132 in Mexico.

Academic Secretary of the Xochimilco Campus, UAM, from December 14, 2017, to March 31, 2020; she received the Diamond Research Award from Psychology Today for "Psychosocial consequences of
forced disappearance in Mexico. The case of the 43 students from the Ayotzinapa Normal". She was a National System of Researchers Level 1 (2014-2017) and resigned to attend University administrative tasks.
She received the Medal of Academic Merit on average of three times: Doctorate, Masters, and Bachelors. Since 2004, she has received the Stimulus for Outstanding Academic Career, Stimulus for Teaching and Research and the Scholarship for Recognition of the Teaching Career, and the Grant for Permanence.
