The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint for a better future for everyone


UAM reached position 194 worldwide in the UI Green Metric World University Ranking in its 2022 edition, out of 1,050 participating higher education institutions. UAM stood out in Infrastructure, Waste Management, Transportation, Education and Research, Water and Water Conservation, Energy, and Climate Change.


According to the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, UAM excels in four SDGs: Good Health and Well-Being; Gender Equality; Decent Work and Economic Growth; and Partnerships to Achieve the Goals. THE ranking also highlights UAM's strength and performance in eight of the 17 SDGs, with the 2023 edition ranking among the top national performers.
