The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint for a better future for everyone


The Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) ranked fourth nationwide in the 2025 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, standing out for its strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UAM achieved first place in Mexico for SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), as well as notable positions in Good Health and Well-Being (2nd place) and Partnerships for the Goals (4th place).

UAM also earned second place nationally in Quality Education (SDG 4), reinforcing its role as a leading institution in promoting inclusive and equitable education. These results highlight its social impact and commitment to sustainable development in Mexico.
