Dr. Rafael Reygadas Robles Gil worked at the Didactics Center of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (CD-UNAM), later at the Center for University Studies (CESU-UNAM) (1972–1978), and at the Center for Academic Development Support at UAM’s Azcapotzalco Campus (1978–1985).
Since 1985, he was a professor of the Bachelor’s in Psychology, the Master’s in Social Psychology of Groups and Institutions, and the Doctorate in Social Sciences at UAM-Xochimilco.
He participated in research projects and psychosocial accompaniment initiatives, contributing to more than 200 collective memory narratives published in 42 books. He collaborated with institutions such as Indesol, the Ford Foundation, and Oxfam Mexico, among others.
He supervised doctoral, master’s, and undergraduate theses. He served as editor of the journal Argumentos, Estudios Críticos de la Sociedad between 2019 and 2023.
