Professor Ana María Guadalupe Monterrubio Aguilar (1953-2025)
She was a Professor in the Department of Research and Knowledge for Design
of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design.
Joined the institution in the year of 1987 and retired in 2025.

Professor Ana María Guadalupe Monterrubio Aguilar (1953–2025), born in Mexico City, held a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Iberoamericana and a specialization in Educational Technology from the Latin American Institute for Educational Communication (ILCE).
She conducted research on principles of graphic composition, graphic design theory, image theory, principles of Islamic design, and accelerated learning pedagogy and competency-based education.
