Profile
Professor Luis Bojórquez Castro, born in Nogales, Sonora, on June 21, 1940, studied Biology and pursued graduate studies at UNAM. He was a member of the Editorial Committee of the Division of Biological and Health Sciences at UAM’s Xochimilco Campus (1999–2008). He authored various articles, manuals, book chapters, and books.
He published articles in Cybernetics and Systems Research and School Science and Mathematics, as well as research on ecology and pollution in Xochimilco. He was the main author of manuals and book chapters on biology, ecology, and applied mathematics for natural systems.
He wrote works on poetic translation, fishes of Xochimilco, and the chemical and biological pollution of the Xochimilco lake system.
He also worked on research projects related to pollution in urban areas and the introduction to eco-mathematics.
