Professor Dulce María Granja Castro de Probert studied her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Philosophy at the Universidad Iberoamericana, with theses titled: "Comparison between the method of transcendental metaphysics and the method of transcendental metaphysics," "The notion of transcendental in Kantian philosophy," and "The notion of a priori in the transcendental method," respectively.

She was a Full-Time Research Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Iztapalapa Campus, in the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities. She coordinated the bilingual edition of the complete works of Kant: the Biblioteca Immanuel Kant Collection for Fondo de Cultura Económica, led the research project Kantian Documentation Center, and was a Member of the Academic Group Philosophy of Action.

She received Honors in her Bachelor’s and Doctoral examinations. She won the Open Competition for the position of Permanent Professor of the Kantian Philosophy chair at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in May 1984. She was awarded the National Prize for Editorial Art for the publication of the Critical-Bilingual German-Spanish Editions of Kant's Work, granted by the Mexican Chamber of the Publishing Industry (CANIEM Prize), in Mexico, 2005. Additionally, she was a founding member of SEKLE, the Society for Kantian Studies in the Spanish Language, in Madrid, Spain, with the appointment on July 20, 2017.

She taught over 40 graduate-level courses and more than 220 undergraduate courses. She supervised 25 Bachelor’s theses, 15 Master’s theses, and 9 Doctoral theses. She published 9 books as an author, 11 edited books, 9 translated books, 23 book chapters, 7 prologues and introductory studies, 3 translated articles, 18 articles, 4 reviews, and 53 conference papers and congress presentations.
