Profile
Dr. Rosa Elena Álvarez Martínez was trained in Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She earned a Master’s degree in Higher Education (1995) and a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences (2002), both from La Salle University, Mexico. She completed postdoctoral stays at Ramon Llull University (Blanquerna Faculty of Psychology, 2007-2008) and the University of Barcelona (Faculty of Education, 2014) in Barcelona, Spain.
Her research focus was on Higher Education in Human Development, university training, humanities, competencies, and emotional education.
Her publications included books with ISBNs on topics such as Mathematics applied to Design, Statistics, Structures, and articles on Education and Humanities.
She presented at national and international conferences.
She was a full-time research professor (Titular C) at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Azcapotzalco Campus, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and was a member of the research area focused on administration and technology for design.
