Profile

Professor Lucía Rangel Vázquez was an architect trained at Universidad La Salle and completed graduate studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her teaching and research career developed mainly in the fields of Structural Analysis, Architectural Drawing, and Descriptive Geometry, among others.

She belonged to the teaching collectives in Structures and Architectural Expression. She developed eight virtual classrooms on the Camvia platform at the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Azcapotzalco Campus, corresponding to the Teaching-Learning Units she regularly taught.

In those virtual classrooms, she implemented various teaching resources, including quizzes, forums, surveys, assignments, and glossaries. Academic activities took place both synchronously and asynchronously, with defined deadlines and options for automated grading or instructor evaluation.

During the health contingency period, her experience in distance education through electronic media proved especially useful for academic activities. Her accumulated experience with virtual classrooms helped facilitate interaction with students and improve teaching strategies in digital environments.
