Professor José Ángel Dávila Gómez is an industrial chemical engineer (IPN, 1978) with a master's and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering (UTC, France, 1984); attached to the Department of Energy in the area of sustainable technologies, responsible for the Hydrogen Research Project and Sustainable Energies (2013), dedicated to the sustainable development of production and use of hydrogen, using both biological production and use in electrolyte systems Type Protonic Cells as well as new approaches to the design of chemical and biological reactors from the perspective of intensified engineering processes (1984 - 2006).
The results of this project and others carried out in prospecting have been published in international journals, in some national journals, and congressional memoirs having been presented at specialized academic events; some others have been reissued by important European and American broadcasting journals and with invitations to participate in the formulation of scientific books on the subject. He is a professor of combustion subjects, energy resources, and energy conversion processes; of engineering of homogeneous reactors, heterogeneous reactors, and advanced reactors; of laboratories of unit operations, processes, and combustion; Courses that employ interactive virtual classrooms and e-learning, teaching support as personalized work tools and interconnectivity. It also secures social service projects with Nayarit's agricultural communities.
He has been an academic advisor of the SEP as a project manager in different periods between 1990 and 2012; for the reform of the higher level of technological education with the creation of the Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Ecatepec (from which it was the first General Director), and the principal co-author of the curricular map applicable for medium and higher technological education as well as Editorial Member of the Mexico Chapter of the Technology Education Diagnostic Report for the Incorporation Act to the OCDE (1994).
