Profile

Professor Luis Verde Star is a distinguished professor of this house of studies, currently he is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.

In 1969, he completed his undergraduate studies in Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. Subsequently, he completed his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin. He obtained his Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences in 1973 and his Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences in 1977 with the thesis entitled "Infnite matrices and representaton of linear operators commutng with shifs".
