Profile

Dr. Néstor Orlando Romero Arismendi holds degrees in Electronic Engineering (2014) and Electrical Engineering (2016) from the National University of Colombia, Bogotá Campus. He earned his Master of Science in Electronic Engineering and his Ph.D. in Communications and Electronics from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Zacatenco Campus.

He currently serves as a faculty member at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, where he teaches courses in logic design and microelectronics. He has developed specialized software for the characterization and calibration of magnetic sensors, as well as tools for the simulation of electromagnetic systems.

His research interests focus on applications of magnetic sensors, electromagnetic simulation, eddy current applications, analysis and processing of analog signals, and the development of regression algorithms.

He has published his research findings in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and has presented his work at various national and international conferences. He has also served as a moderator at academic events.
