Professor Raúl Enrique Molina Salazar studied for a Doctorate in Health planning and financing at London University, he has been a professor at the UAM Iztapalapa Campus since 1974.

An early stage of his research was focused on matters as pricing and financing drugs in Mexico. As long as he was involved in postgraduate programs, he oriented the research of his students to the equity problems on health as well as pharmaceuticals. These topics are central to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.

He has made several publications on health economics, affordable medicines with equity, inclusive institutions and health, health financing with equity and medicine prices.

Consultant at the Pan American Health Organization in Washington, the Mexican Foundation for Health among other institutions.
