Profile
Professor D at the Department of Mathematics at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico. In 2012 holds a B.S degree in Mathematics and in 2015 the M.Sc. in Mathematics, both from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, Mexico. In 2019 obtained the Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico.
She had two postdoctoral positions at the Mathematics Research Center, Mexico and at the University of Valladolid, Spain. Her research areas are commutative algebra, combinatorial algebra and coding theory.
In 2109 received the Sofia Kovalévskaya distinction from the Mexican Mathematical Society. In 2020, the Weizmann Prize from the Mexican Academy of Sciences for the best doctoral Ph.D. thesis in the country in the area of exact sciences and for the same merit in 2022 she received the Arturo Rosenblueth Prize from CINVESTAV-IPN.
In 2024 obtained the CWM grant, for the Visibility of Latin American Women in Mathematics project of the International Mathematics Union. Also a member of ICMAM Latin America since May 2023.
