Profile
Dr. Paola Hernández Chávez is a professor and researcher whose work encompasses various areas of cognitive sciences, philosophy of medicine and biology, as well as bio-inspired technologies and interdisciplinary studies. Her spectrum of interests includes methodological experimental analysis with functional magnetic resonance imaging and theoretical and experimental studies on corruption.
Dr. Hernández Chávez has obtained a postdoctoral degree in Philosophy of Biology, a doctorate in Philosophy of Science with an emphasis on Cognitive Sciences, a master's degree in Humanities specializing in History and Philosophy of Science, and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy.
She has been a member of the SNII since 2014, where she holds Level I status. Additionally, she has a desirable PRODEP profile. She is a Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh:
