Professor Alejandro Lara Caballero holds a Doctorate in Information Sciences and Technologies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus, and a Master's degree in Security Engineering and Security Technologies of Information from the Higher School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the National Polytechnic Institute.

He currently serves as a visiting professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Department of Applied Mathematics and Systems, Cuajimalpa Campus. His research interests encompass combinatorial optimization, multi-objective metaheuristics, and information security.
