Dr. Martín Esteban Seoane Salazar holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with complementary training in Philosophy from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. He is currently an Associate Professor and Researcher in the Department of Economics at UAM, Iztapalapa Campus, where he is a member of the Academic Area of Economic Theory. He is a Candidate of the National System of Researchers (SNII).

His academic work focuses on the study of pure economic theory, with particular interest in microeconomics, price theory, disequilibrium theory, mathematical economics, and the history of economic thought.
