Profile
Professor Magali Pérez Camacho holds a Bachelor's Degree in Administration from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); Specialist in History of Economic Thought from the same university; Master's Degree, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).
She is a full-time professor at UAM Unidad Azcapotzalco in the Department of Administration.
Professor Perez also serves as president of the Editorial Committee of the journal Gestión y Estrategia, published by the Department of Administration at UAM Unidad Azcapotzalco. She is the editor of the book collection Documentos de Posgrado en Estudios Organizacionales, published by REMINEO.
Professor Perez is also a member of the following networks: the Mexican Network of Researchers in Organizational Studies (REMINEO) and the International Network of Researchers in Social Sciences and Humanities (Huika Mexihco).
Her academic interests are oriented to topics related to the organizational perspective of International Cooperation for Development, the organizational perspective of Intentional Communities and ecovillages, and the organizational perspective of Small and Family Businesses. Likewise, her main theoretical orientations are Organization Theory and Studies, Process Organization Studies, Institutionalism in organizations, and Meta-Organizations.
Dr. Perez has participated in research projects in several universities related to MSME business cooperation, international development cooperation, and public policies. Her interest in these topics has led her to write several articles and book chapters on the subject.
