Profile
Professor Carlos Ortega Laurel received his B.S. degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN). He has a Master's degree in Microelectronics Engineering Sciences and a Ph.D. in Communications and Electronics from IPN.
In addition, he holds a Bachelor in Law (UVM), a Master in Business Administration (Universidad Nebrija, Spain) and a Ph.D. in Business Administration (ISEC Business University).
His research interests focus on: steganography, quantum imaging, digital forensics, secure communications systems, quantum and classical information theory. He is a Professor attached to the Department of Information Systems and Communications (DSIC) since August 2018.
