Profile
Professor Daniela Aguirre Guerrero holds a degree in Telematics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), a Master's degree in Information Sciences and Technologies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), and a Ph.D. in Technology from the University of Girona, Spain. She has taught mathematics and computer science at the undergraduate and graduate levels at IPN, UAM, and COLMEX.
She has worked as a Java and Javascript instructor for IPN, Telmex, and Ferromex. In the research area, she has published and refereed articles for international scientific journals in mathematics and computer networks. She has also done research stays at the University of Strathclyde, UK, and the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique (INRIA), France. She also completed a postdoctoral stay as part of the Interdisciplinary Data Science Program at COLMEX.
She is currently an SNI candidate and works as a Professor and Researcher in the Department of Applied Mathematics at UAM, Cuajimalpa Campus. Her research interests are network science, distributed algorithms, graph theory, and data science applied to social sciences.
