Profile
Professor Brenda Liz Valle Hernández received her B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering and her M.S. degree in Environmental Science and Engineering, both from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus. She obtained her Ph.D. in Science at the Center for Atmospheric Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and completed a postdoctoral stay at Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM.
She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences at UAM Azcapotzalco Campus since March 2018.
She has directed two master's and eight undergraduate theses at Azcapotzalco Campus of UAM and at UNAM. She has published six articles in indexed journals, a book chapter and participated in the creation of three patents. She has participated in projects related to water and air pollution problems.
Her lines of research are related to the application of chemical methods for the evaluation of air and water quality, as well as for the prevention, mitigation and solution of these problems.
Her appointment in the National System of Researchers is Candidate.
