Doctor Genaro Hernández is a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus since 2017. Architect by the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus. Member of the National System of Researchers 2018-2020 as a National Researcher Candidate. Appointment as Visiting Professor in Graduate Studies at IPN, ESIA-Tecamachalco, with a duration of three years from April 18, 2018. (honorary appointment, without pay and without specific schedule).

Honorable Mention in Doctorate in Science in Architecture and Urbanism "Instituto Politécnico Nacional ESIA Tecamachalco" 2014-2017. Honorable Mention in Master of Urbanism at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) from 2007 to 2009.
