Dr. Eduardo Tzili Apango is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNII) of the SECIHTI at Level 1 and holds the SEP-PRODEP Recognition for Desirable Academic Profile.
He holds a Doctorate in Political and Social Sciences, specializing in International Relations, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He earned a Master’s degree in Asian and African Studies, specializing in China, from El Colegio de México, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP).
Among his achievements are the 2024 “Dr. Marcos Kaplan” Award, granted for the best doctoral thesis in Law and Social Sciences, as well as the Best Research Area Award in the 2021 and 2023 editions.
Dr. Tzili Apango has built a prolific academic career, with the publication of over 60 works, including articles, book chapters, and books. His research focuses on topics such as global public goods, geopolitics, and China’s international relations.
