Doctor Enrique Catalán Salgado has been a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus since March 2017. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Master's Degree in International Relations from the Xochimilco Campus from the UAM. He is a graduate of the Doctorate in Social Sciences with a specialization in International Relations from UAM.
Among his academic distinctions and awards are:
- Honorable Mention in Undergraduate Thesis.
- Medal for University Merit in the postgraduate program in International Relations.
- Recognition for the highest average in the Master's program.
- Award to the areas of Research 2018, granted to the area of International Politics.
- Honorable Mention in the International Call for Papers "Bicentennials in Action. Commemoration, economic crisis and political mobilization in Latin America", organized by the Observatory on Latin America (OLA), The New School, New York; the Directorate of International Programs of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires (FADU, UBA); and the Institute of Historical Research, National Autonomous University of Mexico (IIH, UNAM).
