Dr. Lorena Litai Ramos Luna holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Organizational Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa. She holds executive certifications in Strategic Human Capital Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a National Human Resources Certification from CONARH, and an International Certification in Professional Consulting from Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla and the International Coaching & Consulting Network. She holds the rank of National Researcher Level I in the Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (SNII). She serves as Head of the Organization and Society Research Area and as representative for the Comprehensive Graduate Program in Administrative Sciences (PICA) at UAM Iztapalapa.

She serves as a Full-Time Professor in the Department of Economics within the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa.

Her research focuses on organizational studies, critical management studies, higher education policy, and the organizational impact of algorithmic management and artificial intelligence. Her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and edited volumes, alongside public engagement and social outreach initiatives addressing ethics, algorithmic decision-making, and organizational dynamics.
