Dr. Asdrúbal Jesús Cedeño holds a Ph.D. in Sciences (Physics) from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, as well as a Master’s degree in Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela.
He serves as a Full-Time Tenured Faculty Researcher in polymer science at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa, with over 40 years of academic experience in teaching and research.
His research focuses on polymer blends, nanomaterials, conducting polymers, tissue engineering, and nanofiber fabrication. He has extensive expertise in material characterization using advanced analytical techniques, including Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), Dielectric Spectroscopy (DEA), and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), among others.
