Doctor Mario Morales is a Professor of Design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Cujiamalpa Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Sciences and Arts for Design, in the area of Critical Theory and History, from the Xochimilco Campus; Master in Creativity for Design from the INBA School of Design; Bachelor in Philosophy and Psychology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); and Bachelor in Graphic Communication Design from the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM.

He has taught courses in Graphic Communication Design at Xochimilco Campus, in Art and Cultural Heritage, as well as Communication and Culture at UACM and at the Institute of Critical Studies.

His areas of research are the theory of image and imagination, creativity and cultural dissidence. He is an active and founding member of the transdisciplinary thought collective Post-Filia.
