Dr. César Augusto Rodríguez Cano is a full-time professor-researcher at the Campus Cuajimalpa of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.

He is a member of the National Researchers System, Level 1, and served as the research secretary for the Mexican Association of Communication Researchers for the period of 2021-2023.

He has conducted research stays at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He is the author of the books 'The Expansion of the Public Sphere: Technopolitical Investigations of the Hyperconnected Society' (2020) and 'Hypermethods: Repertoires of Social Research in Digital Environments' (2022), among other publications focusing on research lines such as Technopolitics, Public Opinion, and Digital Methods. Additionally, he teaches in the Graduate Program in Political and Social Sciences at UNAM and the Doctorate in Communication at Universidad Iberoamericana.
