Professor Lisaura Rodríguez was born in León, Nicaragua, on January 12, 1985. She studied industrial engineering at the National University of Engineering. In 2009, she began her master's studies at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), where she obtained a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering; later, at the same institution, she studied a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering Sciences. She is currently a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Azcapotzalco Campus and is part of the Systems Department, teaching industrial engineering subjects.

Professor Lisaura has the recognition of the Prodep profile and is head of the Systems Innovation area. Within this area, she develops research projects oriented to the continuous improvement of processes and the approach with 4.0 technologies. She is currently responsible, together with Professor Jesús Loyo Quijada, for the manufacturing laboratory with 4.0 approach, where they seek to analyze the performance of production processes in a reconfigurable manufacturing cell with 4.0 approach. This topic will not only allow us to be at the forefront of new technologies, but will also allow us to venture into new lines of research aimed at improving and optimizing processes.

Professor Lisaura has participated in several national and international congresses, as well as has published her research work in magazines of diffusion, indexed, and of impact as the magazine Dyna Ingeniería e Industria. Most of the research carried out corresponds to case studies developed in the industrial field, where the lines of research focused on the improvement of production processes, considering techniques for the study of work measurement, continuous improvement and technologies with 4.0 approach stand out.
