Profile
Doctor Juana Martínez Reséndiz holds a degree in Human Settlements Design from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus, a Master's degree in Regional Studies from the Instituto de Investigaciones Dr. José María Luis Mora and a Ph.D. in Urbanism from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
She is a Professor in the Department of Theory and Analysis at UAM Xochimilco Campus. She teaches in the Tutorial Seminar of the Area of Management and Territory in the Master's Degree in Science and Arts for Design. She has been invited to teach in the Intercultural Development and Management Degree at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the UNAM.
She has been an advisor in research projects, among the most recent "Jóvenes de Identidades Diversas en Dinámicas of Diverse Identities in Metropolitan Dynamics", CONACYT, IIS, UNAM, 2019 and "Formación de promotores ciudadanos para la incidencia en public policy advocacy", 2017 at the National Electoral Institute (INE) and the United Nations
United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
