Profile
Professor Mireya Zamora Macorra, born in Mexico City in November 1983, is a graduate in Psychology from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Zaragoza, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); Master of Science in Workers' Health from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) and Doctor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from the National Institute of Public Health (INSP).
Her academic training includes several courses and diploma courses, in addition to attending national and international congresses. Her publications have focused on the impact of work environments on mental health in the working population, particularly in nursing personnel and the elderly. She teaches at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in the Master of Science in Workers' Health and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the UAM where she is currently a Professor.
Her line of work has been developed in various aspects of health, in the psychological, occupational, and epidemiological fields. She is a member of the board of directors of the Red de Investigadores sobre Factores Psicosociales en el Trabajo, A.C. (RIFAPT) and is a candidate to the National System of Researchers (SNI).
