Profile

Dr. Jazmín Méndez is a Pharmacist-Biologist Chemist graduated from the Juárez University of the State of Durango, and holds a Master's and Doctorate in Biotechnology from the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Iztapalapa campus.

Since 2017, she has been a full time professor at the Department of Biotechnology within the Division of Biological and Health Sciences at UAM, and holds recognition from the National System of Researchers (Level 1).

She is part of the teaching staff of the Department of Biotechnology within the CBS Division and has worked as directo or advisor on multiple research projects and social service activities for students from UAM and other Higher Education Institutions.
