She also has a Technical Programmer-Analyst Degree from the Professional Computing Center of Mexico (CCPM). She completed two years of Postdoctoral Stay (CONACYT), at the Postgraduate College (COLPOS), Montecillo Campus; Likewise, she have taken 24 refresher and continuing education courses at different higher education institutions.
Her lines of research are: i) Systematics and Taxonomy of Legumes, and ii) Biology and Ecology of Legumes, iii) Ecoanatomy and plant ecophysiology and, iv) Distribution of plant species. In the biological part, she focuses mainly on anatomical and physiological aspects, and in the ecological part, on the study of interactions: a) Plant-Soil-Atmosphere (i.e. climate change, water stress), and b) Plant-Soil organisms (i.e. arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, biological scabs and arthropods). The above, for the purposes of conservation and management of biodiversity and soil, and environmental restoration; as well as modeling the distribution of Mimosa and Prosopis taxa in Mexico.
She belongs to the National System of Researchers, Level I (2018-2020, 2021-2025). (CENEVAL), to validate reagents of the “General Exam” for the Graduation of the Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She was Academic Advisor of Students (substitute) before the Academic Council of the UAMI (2013-2015) and I am the Academic Representative of the Department of Biology (2022-2023).
On the other hand, she has collaborated in two literacy days for the State of Mexico, teaching 2 “Literacy Courses” (duration: 6 months and 1 year, respectively).
To date, she has participated in 14 research projects approved by the CBS Divisional Council, UAMI, and in 1 external research project (UAMI-CONABIO).
