Profile

Dr. Horacio Olivares Pilón is a Full-Time Professor in the Department of Physics at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

He has completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences at UNAM, the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, and the University of Connecticut in the United States.
