Professor Arturo Rodolfo Gálvez Medrano is attached to the Department of Politics and Culture of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco.

His research areas are State Management and Political System, and within he is interested in topics of the Mexican State, public policies and new forms of government; State, politics, culture, and civil society; State management and political system; Genesis of the Mexican national discourse; and Regionalism and general government.

Among his publications, two technical research articles stand out, the first with the title of Independent Mexico, from Ayutla to the Contemporary Era. History of the Northeast; and the second, In Search of Eternity, Of Suicides, Rioters and Patriots, Veredas.
