Professor Monika Palacios Martínez is a Full-Time Professor at the Department of Agricultural and Animal Production of the Division of Biological and Health Sciences at the Xochimilco Campus of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

She has a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), a Master's degree in Science from the UACH, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Biology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM).

She has a desirable profile and is a member of the FMVZ-UNAM postgraduate tutors list. Her disciplinary area of research work is veterinary immunology. She is a member of the GAD of the Module Prescription of Medicines and Immunization Protocols in Veterinary Medicine, Coordinator of the Commission of Social Service of the Degree in MVZ, UAM Xochimilco Campus, and a member of the Divisional Council of CBS as representative of the DPAA. She has publications in several indexed journals.
