Dr. Sandra Rodríguez Mondragón is an Industrial Designer, holds a Master's degree in Design with New CAD-CAM Technologies, and a Doctorate in Product Design and Development from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Campus. She collaborates in the Design History Area, where since 2016 she has annually participated in the Interinstitutional Colloquium on History and Design as a speaker, keynote speaker, and member of the organizing committee. She is also a member of the core group of the Academic Area of Design and Education of the Design Evaluation Department within the CyAD Division of the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM.

In the Design Postgraduate Program, she has been part of the organizing committee and editor of the book collection "Of Methods and Ways" since 2014. From 2019 to 2023, she was a member of the Academic Committee for the Preparation of Items for the General Examination for Bachelor's Degree Graduates (EGEL Plus) in Graphic Design EGEL+D-DISEÑO at the National Assessment Center for Higher Education, A.C. (CENEVAL).

Since 2020, she has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the RECIT Technological Sciences Journal at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, at the Valle de las Palmas Unit of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. In 2023, she became an active member of the Design Researchers Network at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In April 2023, she joined the Editorial Committee of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design at the Azcapotzalco Campus of the UAM. She served as a judge for the Mexiquense Craftsman and Craftswoman State Competition "Life and Work" in its 2022 and 2023 editions.

She was recently appointed a member of the Postgraduate Committee in Design and Product Development.
