Professor Clara Ortega García is an Architect from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a Master in Design and Urban Studies from the same institution.

Currently, she is Associate Professor D in the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design, Department of Design Evaluation over Time of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Campus.

She is assigned to the area of Architecture and International Urbanism.
She has collaborated as a teacher at various universities in subjects related to design, architecture and urban planning. She has participated as a jury for the EGEL-ARQUI in the National Evaluation Center for Higher Education (CENEVAL) and also carries out the free exercise of the profession in the García + García Architecture workshop, of which she is co-founder.

Her lines of research are: Historical Centers, Pedestrianization, Gentrification, Touristification, Architecture and Feminist Urbanism.
