Profile
Professor Marcos López holds a B.Sc. degree in Biology with a major in Plant Physiopathology and Phytotechnology from the University of Salamanca (Spain), an M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology of Fungi from the Department of Microbiology and Genetics of the University of Salamanca, and a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Iztapalapa Campus.
He is a Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Lerma Campus since 2011. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) level I.
His main research areas are Antibiotic resistance, Solid medium growth physiology, Biological control with the use of entomopathogenic fungi, and Biotechnological potential of macroscopic fungi.
